[Alpen Capital] Alpen Capital hits high musical notes with yet another successful Global Fusion

Alpen Capital and Alpen Asset Advisors hosted the thirteenth edition of the hugely-popular annual musical concert Global Fusion on 28th January, 2017, at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai. Centered on the theme of ‘One World Experience', the musical extravaganza brought together an incredible line up of artistes from around world to create a mesmerizing fusion of modern and classical musical instruments.

This year's event was led by the pioneering Carnatic musician and Jazz maestro from India, Prasanna on the Guitar. In addition, the concert also featured Ze Luis, leading saxophonist from Brazil, Jazz musician Vitor Gonçalves on the Clarinet / Saxophone and Flute and the Accordion and Keyboards respectively. The concert also featured Grammy nominated Bass guitarist Panagiotis Andreou from Greece, talented drummer Harvey Wirht from Suriname and the magical Congas and Percussion performance of Samuel Torres from Colombia while Rujeko Dumbutshena from Zimbabwe mesmerized the audience with the energetic neo-traditional African dance. Representing the incredible talent of the UAE at the event was the Emirati child artiste Umayma Al Shunnar playing the Violin.

Over the years, Global Fusion has become one of the most sought after events in the UAE, amalgamating the music of some of the most renowned names in the music world to create an unparalleled musical experience. The concert is also known for highlighting talented UAE national artistes and providing them with an opportunity to perform with leading international artistes.

Alpen Capital has been awarded the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Patrons of the Arts Award since 2010 for its patronage of the arts. The company began its operations in the DIFC, Dubai thirteen years ago and has established a strong regional presence over the years closely working with some of the largest business conglomerates in the GCC and India.
