[Alpen Capital] Alpen Capital's Global Fusion concert blends Indian, Arab and Western musical styles in Dubai

Mandolin maestro U Rajesh headlined the concert held at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai.

Masters of Indo-Arab-Western music weaved an auditory canvas of cultural harmony at Global Fusion 2019 concert hosted by Alpen Capital and Alpen Asset Advisors in Dubai. The 15th edition of Alpen Capital's Global Fusion was presented to its clients and select invitees at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai.

This year's Global Fusion, themed 'Splendor of Strings', featured an eclectic set of musicians from around the world. The powerful lineup saw some of the greatest global musicians from different genres playing a range of instruments that included mandolin, acoustic guitar, oud, bass guitar, drums, ghatam, violin and cello.

Globally renowned Indian Carnatic classical music maestro U. Rajesh led the concert with a spellbinding performance on the mandolin. The line-up of artistes included Mathias Duplessy from France playing on acoustic guitar, Tamer Abu Ghazalleh from Palestine on oud, Mohini Dey from Indian on bass guitar, Greg Ellis from USA on drums; Giridhar Udupa from India on ghatam, Emarati siblings Khawla Al Rayhi playing on Violin and Humaid Al Rayhi on Cello; along with a Flamenco dance performance by Aurora Recuero from Spain.

With the annual Global Fusion concert, Alpen Capital aims to blend seamlessly Middle Eastern music with international genres showcasing musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds to showcase the relevance of harmony through an amazing experience of music.

The concert is also known for brining talented Emirati artistes to the main stage providing them with an opportunity to perform with leading international artistes.

Alpen Capital began its operations in the DIFC, Dubai in 2005 and has established a strong regional presence over the years closely working with some of the largest business conglomerates in the GCC and South Asia.
